Blog Assignment #1

1. How would you have explained the meaning of the term "ethics", before taking this class?
My opinion the term ethics refers to well based standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans should do, usually in term of right, obligation, benefit to society, fairness, honesty, compassion and loyalty.

2. What are some of your deepest held values?
My deepest held values are honesty and respect. Within my own personal self I am always considered rather conservative.

3. What are some main principles you try to live your life by?
The main principles I try to live in my life is not to hurting others by my actions and choices in life. This means being honest and straightforward with someone that I encounter. It also means accepting consequences by my actions, and I will not blame other people.

4. What moral qualities do you look for in others?
When it comes to the moral qualities, I tend to look at someone who have the same morals as I do. The moral qualities that I stand out, honesty, royalty and integrity.
Those moral basically consist of the principles by which I try to stuck by that.

5. How were your values and principles developed?
My parents instilled values and principles in me by constantly questioning and discussing the decision and choice I was making in my life. Additionally, at my work place I was involved many different situations that stressed the important of the values and principles that I have.

6. How have your values and principles changed throughout your life so far?
My values and principles are the same as my parents instilled in me. I learned how to respect people by listening to their comments because sometimes their advice is very useful in my life. Those advices gave me better opportunity to correct myself.

7. Out of 25 points, how many points do you feel your work on this assignment deserves? Justify your answer.
I think between 20 to 25 points because I was not sure that I answered all the questions correctly.
